the day the point worked




saturday mornings are always best started with the view of a perfect set rolling in as you drive down to mdumbi. it took 6 months but finally the sandbank between the point and the bay had formed and for three hours straight it was surfed. good times :) below is me, poor posture and way too far forwards, but having a great time!

the surfer from plett who absolutely ripped. this guy was epic!

unfortunately the sand bank was washed away last weekend by some 20ft waves. bummer. here's hoping it reforms.
